i want to make it clear that i m not intend to create a new project.
i hope those features maybe can be merged to the trunk in the future.

Hi,

I'm not scolding you. Don't mess it.
I know you're good willing to do this .
I've downloaded your code.
It's a good package but named after "pcmanx".
That means the crowd will think that's still the orginal pcmanx software.

You should not do something hardly but ask somebody else to take the
responsibility.
That's not fair to you, and neither to PCMan.

Therefore I recommend that:
1. fork a branch and use a different name, then you can take over this
package, without asking anybody's agreement.
or
2. paste your patch , and sit down to wait for others' commit.
but I think if you want and paste the code , jserv will let you join the team.

That's my personal opinion.
Thanks for your contribution.

Rgds,
anton

hi ggoase,

Thanks for your contribution. As far as I know, there are two
improvements in your forked tree:
(1) custom image viewer support
(2) article download feature

I have reviewed your changes and make separate patch to list for (1).
(2) could be the next in a couple of days later. However, this
subject is a bit misleading for mailing-list subscribers while using
"release" word.

Creating new development branch for specific feature is good, and this
is normal in word wide. But it would be nice if we can concentrate on
cooperative development model to speed up the official releases of
PCManX projects.

Feel free to send your patches to list or join the project as one of
the developers behind.

Thanks,
-jserv
