Hi, folks —

Please consider signing your organization on to a letter in opposition to Port Ambrose, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal proposed off the coasts of New York and New Jersey.

The letter is being sent to Governors Christie and Cuomo, both of whom have veto authority over this dangerous project.

It urges Governors Cuomo and Christie, both with presidential aspirations, to be national leaders in protecting our oceans, preventing climate change and reducing our dependence on fossil fuels.

Port Ambrose would present a terrorist threat, with the explosive gas risking thousands of lives, and endanger our beaches, ocean ecology, and tourism & fishing industries.

And if — as we anticipate — the facility is used to export natural gas, it would promote fracking.

The letter and sign-on form are linked here.

And please forward this email to others who might be interested!

Thank you for your consideration.

— Eric
