Gillibrand deadline: Friday, April 10

Hi, folks —

We need organizations to sign on to a letter to Senator Gillibrand — by Friday, April 10.

The letter urges Senator Gillibrand to sponsor a ban on fracking on federal lands.

This would be the senate companion bill to the Protect Our Public Lands Act sponsored in the House by Representative Pocan.

We anticipate that Pocan will re-introduce his bill in April, and we’re trying to generate lots of support for Gillibrand to maintain New York’s leadership in the fight against fracking.
