Silent auction

At our last meeting we discussed having a silent auction during the
blockbuster weekend at St. Tom's. In order for this to work we need
everyone's help. Each member of PCGS will be asked to find something
to donate to the auction. Here are some ideas:

- Stop by a local business (restaurant, cafe, bookstore) and ask for a
donation. Tell them it is for a silent auction that PCGS is having and
their name will appear on the tag with the item description (e.g.,
donated by Borders). If you are going to contact a local business
please email me first to make sure no one else has already contacted
them.

- Auction your gifts or talents (e.g., offer a free piano lesson, golf
lesson). We have so many talented people in this group that have so
much to offer, so please considering doing this if you have a special
talent or skill :)

- If you are creative or crafty make something (e.g., knit something,
frame a photo, make a stationary set)

Please let me know what you are planning on donating by Friday Aug.
20th. We will need all donations brought to the church no later than
12noon on Friday Aug. 27.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any other ideas or know of
