Hi All,

A colleague just shared this, I wonder if PBPAC might want to make a submission?

This is a a really amazing group and it might be interesting to highlight some of the efforts, shifts we've seen, and challenges that still remain. I'd be happy to help move an abstract submission forward if this is of interest to people in this group. (Not sure if it is something that would be brought to the next official meeting and needs a vote to move forward?) A 250 word abstract seems doable by 7/20!

The focus is infrastructure.
More information here:

We are soliciting the following types of submissions:
Commentaries (1000–2500 words) summarizing recent events or processes related to Maine’s infrastructure needs or commenting on some aspect of public policy formulation in Maine.

Those interested in being considered for this issue will need to submit an abstract of the proposed submission (~ 250 words) to m...@maine.edu by July 20, 2026. Please include the names and affiliations of all authors with the abstract.

Cheers,

Emilie

Thanks Emilie! This really does look like a cool opportunity.
I’ll dig in a little later.
