Hi all,

At our meeting tonight we roughed out some ideas for our fall Councilor and Candidate Ride. Because District 3 is having elections this year, the ride will focus in that area. We will start in Libbytown - pencil in Sewell St. by the Train Station - and end at Rowe Elementary School.

As for the route, we'd like to highlight shortcuts between Thompson's Point and Shaws.and then up Stevens to the new Ludlow St. improvements. We need to hammer out the exact route and will be looking for suggestions to get this finalized at the next PBPAC meeting, scheduled for Aug 18.

We will plan to have the usual after-ride discussion at around 11am at Rowe Elementary. For those looking for even more bike-related activities, some of us might continue to Rock Row for "Bike Fest", which runs from noon-6pm on Oct 4.

Save-the-dates will go out to Councilors and candidates later this week so please weigh in if there's anything mission-critical we need to change on the starting location, date, and time.

Thanks all,

Damon

Playing around with routes, here are a couple concepts
Option 1 - Wending through Deering Highlands
Option 2 - Stevens-Capisic
