I was mostly being facetious with the faint hope that perhaps at least one Mainer was there.

As much as Maine (and New England) goes on and on about the trials and tribulations of winter living, millions and millions of other people in cold climes show way better skill and ability innovating around winter’s challenges.

The same may be said for pedestrians: millions of people live in cold climes with precipitation and infrastructure design and maintenance that supports walking. What a concept.
