Welcome to Portland Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (PBPAC). Our mission is to make Portland, Maine the most walkable, bikeable, and transit-friendly small city in the US. PBPAC is a volunteer committee that advocates on behalf of people who walk, bike, roll, and use transit in Portland. We believe improving conditions for non-car modes of transportation is crucial in achieving the city and state’s climate goals, as well as making Portland a more equitable and joyful place to live.
