Howdy!
I am certainly glad that they started a group for what I consider the
best of the 68k PowerBooks! Mine is a rather stock 540c, 16mb RAM,
300mb HD, System 7.5.3. I got it a couple of years back as a
replacement for my PB150 that suddenly died. Besides the fact that all
of its batteries are dead (both main and PRAM), it is a fine workhorse,
and I use it frequently with my other main laptop, a Tandy Model 102.
Want to ultimately get the PC Card cage, but for now, "Excalibur" has
proven to be a great machine. It's good that we Blackbird owners now
have a place of our own on the Web!
