OK, I got my old 540 out with the massively upgraded HD (800 Meg) and
superfast PowerPC CPU (183 MHz) and 32 Meg. of RAM and it ran fine.
The batteries even still hold a little charge and I plugged it into
the network and got on the internet with Mozilla. Grrr, if it would
just die I would give up on it.
