A few weeks ago I bought a bottle of D'Arenberg's "d'Arry's Original",
a Grenache/Shiraz blend, from the West Chester store. I since had
heard good things about this so I thought I'd open it up. I was put
off at first. When you open the bottle it's very raw and alcoholic,
but within about thirty minutes it had opened up very well. Good
stuff, about what you'd expect from a good Aussie blend, tons of
tropical fruit and a pretty good body. What was nice was that it was
selling for $14.99, I can find it online for $18 and up. See if your
local store still has a bottle or two.

A side note - as usual I checked the http://www.lcb.state.pa.us site,
but no luck. The database seems a little wonky and I'm wondering if
it's not being maintained as well. Hopefully it's just my imagination.

Summer's here - any nominations for picnic wines?
