I can't find this decent Bordeaux in the PA LCB website, which is a
pity as it really is worth finding. It's the Chateau la Garde 2001,
which I bought at the Berwyn State Store, originally in mid-October
and again just a few days ago. This is not a Cheval Blanc by any means
but it's a solid, enjoyable wine that goes well with hearty food. The
fact that it was marked down to $16 a bottle was icing on the cake.
The metaphorical cake. There was no actual cake.
