[Cubmaster Pack 410]

Greetings Pack 410,

 

      The school year has started and hopefully everyone has their routine down pat.  We are planning our Back to the Pack meeting for our usual time and place, Tuesday, September 8, in the Pine Meadow cafeteria at 6:30pm.  This may be a challenge due to it being the first day after Labor Day but we hope to see as many of you as possible.

 

     Among other items we will talk about the popcorn sale this fall.  This is our biggest fund raiser and can pay for an entire year's worth of Scouting activities for your boy(s).  This is our chance to not have any out of pocket expenses for Scouting.  Each of the boys should have received a popcorn order sheet (with prize list), if not or if it has been misplaced...I have more.  Please look over the prizes and have the boys pick out what they want to aim for as a prize.  No goal is too high!

 

     I am willing to work with any scout that wants to learn the four sentence sales pitch that I promise will sell popcorn.  It is the same verbiage as last year and I have some scripts printed in case someone needs a refresher.  It is copyrighted so I do not think I can share it via this medium.  

 

    Lastly, our Pack is a parent led organization and it cannot continue without your help.  We still need someone to step up and be Cubmaster.  I am willing to work with them and help as much as desired and pass on my lessons learned as Cubmaster.  It is not difficult and we are not limited to a male Cubmaster, females are welcome as well.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like more information.
