Greetings Pack 410,
This Saturday, 10 August, at 9:00am, we are doing a school clean up around the grounds of Pine Meadow. If you can make it, it would be great to see you. We plan to be there for about an hour picking up any trash around the school. I have found that a five gallon bucket works better than trash bags because the opening stays open. Also, I use a stick (or a broken broomstick or other tool handle will work) and I drive a 16 penny nail into the end about an inch in and then I use a grinder to grind the head off and sharpen it to a point. This allows me to stab the trash (lots of fun) and pick it up without having to bend over. I am not sure when the county will send the mowers but I would prefer to clean before they shower the landscape with confetti.
I hope to see you this Friday night at the Sunset at Sam's Surf City!
