Greetings Pack 410,

 

     Don't tell the boys but school is right around the corner.  I hope everyone has had a fun and safe summer and I know many of you went on vacation and hopefully you're back with some lifelong memories and great stories!

 

    Each summer some of us go to Sam's Surf City on the same night.  We can't do it as a Pack outing due to a lot of reasons.  So, we just happen to show up conveniently on the same night.  Friday nights during the summer Sam's has a special event, Sunset at Sam's.  We are planning to go Friday August 9th.  Most everyone will likely be back in town and starting to gear up for school.  Sunset at Sam's is from 6:00pm to 9:00pm with fireworks at the end.  The cost is 13.95 plus tax per person and you can choose either the wet side or the dry side (Surf City or Fun City).  Most opt for the wet side due to the heat and the lure of the cool refreshing water racing down each slide.  Last year the boys, and siblings, had a blast and wore themselves out riding one water slide after another as fast as they could.  You are welcome to join us and remember it is not a pack event and you're on your own for everything.
