Some Races to Try

Hey guys,

I was going to do the Festa Metric Century, but didn't realize I'll be
in NY so can't do it :( Anyhow...has anyone done the Tour de Poway
(October 4th) or Tour de Julian (November 7th)? I'm looking at doing
both. Maybe some of you would like to do both or one of them with
me??? :)

Oh yeah...anyone interested in the Sea to Ski relay event? Talk about

Stu...I'm totally down with doing Wildflower as a relay team if it's
something you'd want to do! I could totally get into swim shape by
then.

Also, Billy and I are signing up for the Great Urban Race (October
24th)! Check it out! We're trying to come up with a team name.

I've done Tour de Poway a number of times (but not for a few years), it's usually a pretty good one.  Although you may have already ridden most of the course on other rides...

I also did Tour de Poway a few years ago, it was fun. I think I did the 60 mile option. Big climb at the start, if I remember!

Yeah, there's a big climb in the beginning that looks a little spooky!
It's a 3 mile 8% grade. I feel intimidated at this point, but know I
could do it if I tried. I just haven't gotten myself to sign up for it
yet.
