Big Bear Lake this Sat.

Hey! I know its really short notice but this Sat. 9/12, Big Bear Lake
is having its annual Run the Bear marathon which also includes a 15
mile bike tour (they call it a tour because there is no winner). You
do have to register and pay for the bike tour. I am running the 1/2
again this year (the altitude kicked my butt last year); there is also
a 5K and a kids 1 mile. This is only their 2nd year but the whole
town gets into and is very supportive which makes it alot of fun. The
marathon, 1/2, and bike tour all go around the lake so it is beautiful
route.

I had actually planned on doing that a few months ago with my boss but
the plans slipped through. It sounds like a tough race. I hope you

The race was awesome! very beautiful course. we rented a cabin on
the lake and bummed around on the boat. Nice, clean(er) air, too; a
much needed break from the smokey Valley.

I highly recommend you do it next year.
