Saturday October 3rd New Belgium is putting on the tour de fat in
Balboa Park!!! This may not be exciting to you but, I got a chance to
go to this in Portland a couple years ago and it is a blast. It's all
about cycling and sustainability and....... drinking beer. They have a
parade around the city for about an hour on whatever bike you want to
bring. Then there's entertainment and refreshments till late
afternoon. The key is to dress as dumb as possible and ride the
craziest bike. It is soooo much fun and I hope you all can make it. -
