Hey all. I know I'm pretty quiet up here in LA and don't make it down to SD very often, but I wanted to let you all know about two events we are hosting up here.
Crucial Vegan Friendship Picnic
Sunday Sept 27th, Noon in Elysian Park

These tend to be bigger events, 50-75 people or so and lots of great food. Maybe we'll ride beforehand?

New Moon Century
Sunday Oct 18th, 630am in Oak Park

My housemate is putting on this century that is a benefit for Fed Up With Hunger and Sea Shepherd. There's a metric option too. It's in the beautiful Santa Monica mountains. All the food will be kosher and vegetarian!
If you have any questions or anything please let me know. Would love to have people come up.

Can't make the picnic but the century is a possibility. What's the
entry for that? Sounds like it might be a cool trip. Maybe we can
recruit some people at the next potluck down here. -stu
