bike ride and brick workout sunday. LV tri relay?

Hello fellow OA'rs! This sunday we will be biking the coast again.
Same time 715am at the entrance to fiesta. If you're feeling randy
Blaine and I are going to attempt a 6 mile run after. There will be a
faster 60 mile group and the slower 40 mile group. We will meet up at
java depot on the way back. We had a really good time last weekend and
a good turnout. If you haven't come yet you should.

Also, Blaine, Mark, and I are doing the Las Vegas tri on the 27th of
this month (half distance). they have sprint, olympic, and half iron
distances. They also have a half iron relay. It's very reasonablely
priced also. It would be great to have a couple more people there from
OA. We are going up Friday night and leaving monday. The hotel has a
buy 2 get one night free deal or you can camp by the start. If last
years results are any indication the field is NOT stacked and it would
be a great first race for anyone. Mark has told me that it is quite

Wow! what a workout yesterday. Blaine and I rode 64 miles and ran 6
yesterday. It was tough. This was Blaine's longest bike and 1st brick
workout ever! He hung in there. I was super impressive. We did see
Daniel at the java depot but unfortunatly due to our "blistering" pace
we could not stay. Hopefully next weekend we'll get a bigger turnout.

I've heard that billy may be getting a road bike which will be
awesome! So hopefully we'll see him out there soon. More awesome news
in the next post...... -stu
