Years ago I worked on Alaskan sawfly (Hymenoptera)  vs. willow (Salix) ecology; a species-rich treasure trove for studies on plant-insect interactions in a region with low insect diversity.

Can anyone familiar with northern sawflies point me to a publication (hopefully in English) that lists Alaska-Yukon sawfly species and their host plants?

I am searching for the name of a sawfly species that is a common, specialist stem borer in catkins of Salix alexensis, a common willow in arctic riparian/upland-dune habitats on the Coastal Plain of the 'North Slope" of Alaska. The willow creates the tallest groves (subshrubs) in this ecoregion, sometimes reaching ~2 meters high in the most winter wind-protected sites.
