Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid) Must be local to CA

The State Of CA requires skilled IT consultant resources to provide Azure Administration services across enterprise-wide applications. The Azure Cloud administrator shall provide support for all Azure-related resources and environments. This will include design and implantation of any and all new Azure workloads. They should be able to analyze root causes of infrastructure issues and provide corrective actions.

Under the direction of the Infrastructure Services manager or delegate, the contractor shall provide one (1) senior system analyst consultant for support, mentoring, and training on Azure Administration as described below.

(Azure Administrator)

1. Analyze and understand the Functional and Non-Functional business requirements provided by teams.

2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Azure resources as needed.

3. Provide guidance to staff during all phases and solution development.

4. Design and implement Azure infrastructure to meet business requirements.

5. Design and implement custom scripts and processes to assist in the management of their Azure cloud environment.

6. Manage Azure resources, resource groups, Subscriptions, and Management groups as needed.

7. Design and implement infrastructure and solutions to meet High Availability and Disaster Recovery requirements.

8. Analyze Cloud Security posture and Regulatory Compliance Policies to provide recommendations and assist in implementation of the mitigating solutions.

9. Analyze and provide guidance regarding cost management of cloud resources.

10. Compose and provide technical documentation related to the build and/or configurations of Azure Infrastructure.
