Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA
Location: Greenville, SC / Little Rock, AR / Evansville, IN / Lexington, KY (Hybrid)
Duration: long term Contract
Rate:$50/hr on c2c
Job Description :
Ideally with more than 5 years of experience with Oracle, preferably in a lead role.
Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), performance tuning, storage management, back-up and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies.
Monitor all database and application systems (CPU, memory, storage, and general system availability.)
Troubleshoot technical issues with database and application servers
Ensuring the integrity of databases and application by running periodic maintenance routines and performing regular database backups
Strong knowledge on Advanced Queuing
Recommend database configuration changes to increase database performance to the Database Professionals.
Optimize the DB Query Performance. Strong knowledge on performance Tuning.
OS Linux/Unix Windows server monitoring, able to automate tasks using shell script.
Always seek opportunities to optimize the database queries and functional objects.
Strong Knowledge on Backup and Recovery.
Should be a strategic thought partner to Influence the senior leadership to adapt and drive efficiency improvements.
Attend Client Meetings to understand their expectations.
Assist developers/ Testers in achieving the coding standards PL/SQL
coding PL/SQL, DB Query tuning, Performance Tuning, MSS, MetaSolv, M6
