Must:

• Be part of Clients Site Reliability Engineering Team to identify & triage the Architectural, Design, Software & Application Code issues in real-time

• Primarily responsible for ensuring that customer facing Clients Software Products are highly available, reliable, and performant through world-class monitoring, alerting, self-healing capabilities by applying software engineering practices

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Clients software products towards preventing (pro-active) as well as troubleshooting and mitigating (re-active) service availability/performance issues

• Being able to multi task and deliver in a fast paced, rapidly evolving technology landscape and participate in an on-call escalation for incident resolutions.

Requirements:

The Devtest engineer role will focus on testing, validating & ensuring all software activities are held to a high standard of excellence. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent team skills ready to work in a challenging environment.

Primary Responsibilities & Tasks

• Work with development team members to understand product functionality. 

• Build automation test framework(s) based on product features and capabilities (Python unittest). 

• Convert use cases into test cases utilizing test software. (TestLink, HP ALM). 

• Ability to write clear and concise test cases whether automated or manual. 

• Reproduce production bugs in various lab environments and report accordingly (JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).
