We are all community organizers. Whenever we donate to a community service organization, we help support that mission, and whenever we get down to the streets in our communities to spread the word, that's community organizing. When we talk about a plant that's closing and work to prevent that, that's community organizing. When we talk about having major potholes in our roads that aren't paved in rural communities, that's community organizing. When a neighbor's house burns down, and we welcome his or her family into our home, and the community gives what they can give to the family--food and clothes--that's community organizing. When a dirty landlord evicts his tenants in the middle of the night, and we work to bring him to court, that's community organizing. When we go into our neighbors' homes to care for them in their last dying moments when they have no one else but us, that's community organizing.

Community service work brings hope to communities. It brings the light of hope and faith into our friends and neighbors' lives, especially in the past eight years, when the Republican administration has worked overtime to extinguish that light of hope and faith through their misdeeds.

We are all community organizers. We are the ones who volunteer at special organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish Foundation, ACORN, YouthBuild, and so many more organizations that work to bring communities together through volunteer missions at their churches in soup kitchens, hospice work for dying patients, and environmental clean-up of communities. They help keep cities and communities from dying from a lack of hope.

Mitt Romney, Rudolph Guilani, and Sarah Palin all got up and made fun of these people when they denigrated Senator Barack Obama's community organizing work in impoverished communities.

Sarah Palin SNEERED when she delivered this line:

"I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities."

Sarah Palin and John McCain would work for four more years to extinguish the light of hope and faith that community organizers, us regular Americans, bring to our communities. They just don't care about the real work that Americans do in keeping communities together in an economy that's gone adrift in a world full of uncertainty.

It's time to fight back for our communities by electing Senator Barack Obama as America's President!

They Are Slamming All Volunteers and Those Responsible For Running the Programs and Non-Profits Geared To Community Stability and Most Following that which is taught under religious ideologies, they claim to believe in, and common sense Human Intelligence of Survival of Each Other and Self!!!

Emphasizing "mayor of Wasilla" brought to mind "community organizer".
DEMOCRATS have chosen to give the Pubbies ammo. Obama comparing
himself to the VP nominee was stupid. If she has zip experience, he's
chirping about having more than SHE does, i.e., more than ZIP! NOT
good.
