sounds like a "normal" active RLV restrains... you may consider to use SAFEWORD in local chat ...

The issue is not something that can be fixed with the use of SAFEWORD, as per the new 3.600 update, all OpenCollars use a new keyholder script, so all the use of SAFEWORD does it return the keys, to the submissive. as well as stop all animations and trigger the collar to release the sub from any pose they maybe stuck in, for what ever reason even per someone hacking there collar. It is suppose to also over ride all functions that the primary or secondary owners have imposed. But I doubt that it will remove standered restrictions such as inventory blocks, or chat/IM blocks but you may wish to try.

If you would how ever give a better definition of what the exact problem with not receiving Im's is it would be more helpful with, providing a valid solution.

Ok if I remember correctly, you need to use your email address or user name
not the display name. OC works on legacy style names, not the new display
names. So if your name is say Athaliah Opus or say John Resident you would
put that name, in instead of say Anastasia Marie Romanov. But you also have
to create a Google account for it to register your name I believe. What is
occurring is you are missing a step or doing a step in the registration
wrong. It has nothing to do with the collar its self if you are having a
problem with registering with the web interface. I suggest you go back and
fallow the steps again, but since your using the Opencollar Google group it
means you have some kind of account. so just slow down and try again.

AFAIK SAFEWORD also resets RLV restrictions if and only if the OC-Relay is configured to listen to safeword (check RLV/Relay settings)
