upload of addresses

hi,

I have some questions to this theme:
* If I upload addresses (examples test.csv & test.xml), I can see them
in http://www.openaddresses.org/uploads , but they should be finally
in OA - what is to do, is there some admin, which must be informed to
copy this file(s), or exist there an automatism? If I made a mistake -
sorry, but the wiki is different to the existent interface ...
* Which format for uploads is to prefer - xml or csv?
* Exist somewhere a file-prototype, which is optimized for upload of
OA-addressfiles?

Hi Christian,

- as far as I know file-upload is currently processed manually. Automatic processing is a open point for future development.
- .csv would be fine.
- we are working with a postgres dbms, so if your address data is already available as a sql dump this would be great.

I hope I could answer your question. One last question from my side: Where in the wiki did you find misleading information?

Thanks for the answers. It's all right, there are a mistake in my
memory - the description was not in the wiki, this was on www.map-your-world.ch
and described an older(?) version under http://geoweb05.cti.ac.at/OpenAddressesv1Beta/htdocs/
