Would you please send out an urgent request for heavy-duty prayers for John Higgins to everyone on Fr. Chet’s website…

 

Dear Ones,

 

Fr. Chet Michael’s very close friend for more than 20 years, John Higgins, suffered a serious stroke a couple of days ago and is now in Roanoke Memorial Hospital’s NeuroICU…he is unable to speak...

 

John is a graduate of Fr. Chet’s second SDI class and has several spiritual directees in the Roanoke area…

 

Fr. Chet, Elaine Bunch and I went to visit him in the hospital yesterday…although he is unable to speak, he looks good and his mind seems clear for he was able to respond to us with his eyes and slight nods or slight shakes of his head…and Fr. Chet was able to minister to John and give him the Eucharist…

 

I will post updates on John’s condition as soon as I receive them…
