The next "Day Away" retreat at Our Lady of the Angels Monastery will take place on Saturday, September 24 from 8:30 to 4:00 PM.  The theme for the retreat is "A Dress Rehearsal for Death - A Day of Silence and Reflection."  Monsignor Michael utilizes this topic in many of his week-long directed retreats.

 

There is no fee for the retreat, but donations for the Sisters are welcome.  Bagels, fruit, coffee, and beverages are provided in the morning.  Please bring a bag lunch, your Bible, and writing materials.  The retreat will be held in the retreat cabins on the monastery grounds.  To register, obtain directions, and receive more information, contact Bev Mirmelstein at bj...@comcast.net, or call (434) 973-4252.
