MOUNTAIN TOP MASS WITH MONSIGNOR MICHAEL

Sunday, May 27th

SUNRISE

This is the second time we’ve invited others to journey up the daily mountain trek and celebrate mass with Father Michael.  This year, you will have 3 options to join him, as we will celebrate mass beside a lake at the foot of Ennis mountain, the mountain of his daily prayer journey.

Option 1

Join Monsignor Michael at his home in Afton to walk the trail with him up the mountain behind his home.  Juice and water will be offered at the home of the Harveys on top of the mountain before the trek will proceed down the mountain to celebrate mass.  Please arrive on time as he will leave his yard promptly.  Departure time will be forwarded later this week. Dress in hiking shoes or exercise shoes as the walk is vigorous.

Option 2

Drive to the top of the mountain and join Father Chet and others to journey down the mountain trail to the lakeside site for the celebration of the Mass.  This path is better maintained, but you should still wear good boots or athletic shoes.

Option 3

Drive directly to the lakeside site for the celebration of the Mass and stay for a light continental breakfast afterwards.  Tom and Pam Harvey welcome anyone to stay longer and hike any of the extensive trails on their mountain side property.

Rain will not cancel Mass, but might cancel the hike.  We will keep in touch by email.

Please RSVP to Tim Short at TBS...@comcast.net if you can attend.
