Lots of Spatterdock darners out today at Drynan in North Dumfries, which isn't unusual but there were a couple of freshly emerged Lanced Tips in the same area. Definitely early for them. Large quantities of skimmers as well as Racket Emeralds. I have a feeling this season will be early and brief unless we get some decent rain soon.
