Annetts, 66, would know. Between 2002 and 2006 he earned his associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees online. Working at a New York state correctional facility, he says that online classes allowed him the flexibility to pursue his career and eventually become superintendent of Downstate Correctional Facility.
