How RPG Works
For those of you who have little or no experience with
this kind of email roleplay. *blushes* I only recently
discovered that there were rolelpays that were different
from the way I play mine. Something with a game master and
stuff. I don't know. It all confused me when one of my members
tried to explain it to me.
Alright what we try to do is just have an on going book
sort of thing. Let me just put it this way. When you first
join and all and have to introduce your character you would
do an introductory message. Like this:
*Abigail moved through the swamp with ease. She knew what
places and plants to avoid to find the ones that she wanted.
The swamp witch had taught her that. It was almost to easy,
her training to take Christine's place. She would learn the
different poisons and spells and how to use the mirrors. Then
she would go to Wendell's castle, woe him, kill him and take
over the kingdoms for the Swamp Witch - her queen. She reached
for one of the singing mushrooms and slipped, falling face first
in the water. "Drat it!" She exclaimed slapping the water and
then cradling her stinging hand.*
And then you would send it and wait for someone to reply. When
someone did they might be like:
*Wolf sauntered through the swamp. He knew how dangerous it was
to enter there, but he was worried and didn't really care.
Virginia was heavy with his child and having pains. Tony wasn't
much help and as much as he wanted to be with his cream puff he
couldn't take it. He had to be alone for awhile. He looked up
when he heard an exclamation and walked toward its source. He
reached down a hand to help the woman out of the water. "Huff
puff. You should be more careful lady."*
And then you would reply with what Abigail was saying or doing
and it would go on like that. That's basically it. If you need any
