Prayer for a friend

I have a friend in need of God's grace and angels to help him through
the mess he has unfortunatly caused due to his own hand against
himself. I pray that he find the strength and self worth to leave the
past that haunts him and come in to the light of the present with a
effort to stand for what's right in the path of his worst temptations,
appreciate what good he has in his life and just live like he's never
lived before. I also pray for him to be less selfish and more selfless
towards his son with attention, time and the love that they both need
but circumstances have robbed for various reasons in the past. It's
time.
