Jarrod asked me to pass this along. It's from a close friend of his.

It is so hard to know when and who to contact when life throws you
situations that only prayer can handle. Cory and I send you this need
for prayers for our family, especially my dad, Wayne. My father has
been admitted into ICU at Northside Hospital after complications
following hernia surgery. He had to have an emergency procedure
Saturday morning (5/12) to repair an intestinal leak causing toxins to
spread inside his body. We are in the second half of a critical 48
hours. Even once we get through these critical hours it will be a long
road to recovery. As the doctors and nurse keep telling us, he is a
very sick man.

Our friends are plentiful and close to us. We ask you lift my dad to
our Heavenly Father who is truly in complete control.
