Midland College Move-In

He's talked with the people in charge over at MC and they are ecstatic
that we will come to help with move-in again this year. They have
requested that we provide a list of names of the people volunteering
so they can keep their dorm supervisors informed. Here are the
basics:
Move-In
------------------------------------------------
Saturday, August 25th
Meet at OIKOS at 9:15 AM for donuts
Start moving in people at 10:00 AM
We will likely stay there until at least 1:00 or 2:00 PM depending on
the need
We will have some coolers close by full of cold water
Come and go as necessary
Dollies and other carts that might help with move-in are encouraged...so
bring 'em if you got 'em!
If you are interested please let me know by calling (if you've got my
number) or emailing at oi...@tkicks.com or be prepared to be harassed
into signing up on Wednesday night. We will want to wear our yellow
OIKOS service shirts if you have one; if not, please try to wear
another OIKOS shirt. This will be our first chance this semester to
reach out and influence Midland College's campus as a group. For
those of you that are not college students, it would be easy to forget
that we likely would not have a ministry if it wasn't for Midland
College...this is our chance to give back and serve others. Please join
us. We had a lot of fun last year despite the hot weather!
