Welcome to OPT-IN, the Ohio Psychedelic Therapy & Integration Network. We are a multidisciplinary home for Ohio professionals dedicated to the safe, ethical, and effective advancement of psychedelic-assisted therapies.
Our Purpose
We exist to connect therapists, prescribers, researchers, and advocates across the state. Our goal is to build a strong professional network where we can exchange clinical wisdom, discuss emerging research, and support one another in navigating this evolving field with integrity and care.
Who Should Join?
We welcome all Ohio-based professionals who are psychedelic-informed, trained, or simply "psychedelic-friendly." This includes:
• Therapists, Social Workers, and Counselors (integrating KAP or preparation/integration).
• Medical Professionals (MDs, DOs, NPs) administering or overseeing treatment.
• Researchers, Educators, and Advocates.
Our Shared Values & Community Standards
To ensure this space remains professional, safe, and supportive, we ask for alignment with the following core principles:
• Legal & Ethical Integrity: We are dedicated to clinical and legal applications of psychedelic therapies. Discussions regarding sourcing illegal substances or unsanctioned activities are strictly prohibited. We uphold the ethical codes of our respective Ohio licensing boards at all times.
• Absolute Confidentiality: We encourage rich clinical consultation, but client privacy is paramount. Please discuss cases using general themes or composite vignettes only; never share specific or identifying details.
• Collaborative Learning: We value curiosity and the exchange of knowledge. Whether discussing established evidence or exploring novel theories, please distinguish between the two to maintain clarity.
• Community over Commerce: This is a space for sharing resources, events, and training that benefit the collective. Please focus on contribution rather than direct sales or advertisement.
• Respectful Dialogue: We embrace diverse professional backgrounds and viewpoints. Engagement should always be collegial, constructive, and kind.
