Carjacking-3500 block of Georgia AVE NW

On July 18, 2020, at approximately 3:15 am, Fourth District units were flagged down for a report of a Carjacking. The victim reports that he was getting in his vehicle, when he was approached by two suspects, who demanded his car. The victim gave the suspects his keys, but the suspects the produced knives and cut the victim, while demanding money. The suspects then got in the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene going west bound in the 700 block of Newton ST NW. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Taken was a Red and Silver “Main” Taxi Cab with DC Tags.
The suspects are described as two black males, in their late teens to early twenties, thin build, wearing blue jeans, and one had twists in his hair.
