MPD Arrests Suspect in Northeast Assault

  

(Washington, D.C.) – The Metropolitan Police Department announces an arrest has been made of a man who assaulted victims with a knife in Northeast. 

 

On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at approximately 6:25 p.m., Fifth District officers responded to the 200 block of Q Street, Northeast, for a disorderly individual with a knife. One of the victims stated the suspect produced a knife and waved it in their direction. The suspect was arrested by responding officers. The victims were not injured.

 

42-year-old Anthony Campbell, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
