UPDATE; Successful Rally in Harrisburg for Public Transit: Keep the momentum going

Let's keep our momentum rolling! You are invited to any and all of the upcoming meetings and trainings as we plan to inform and mobilize public transit supporters:

• General Membership meeting this Saturday, February 16th at 10am at One Smithfield St in the Human Services Building, downtown Pittsburgh. Help us plan our next steps and hear what working groups you might be interested in joining: Media, Transit Tales, Direct Organizing, Legislative Campaign, and Coalition Building are just a few. If you want to jump in, you can choose the group that best fits your own skills, expertise and/or interests. 
• Transit Tuesdays: join us to spread the word about what's happening on the public transit funding front and what people can do. We will meet regularly on Tuesdays at 3pm, review the latest transit news and collective plans, then between 3:30-5pm share that information and upcoming actions at bus stops and buses. 
• Volunteer trainings: fun, interactive trainings with drivers, riders and other transit supporters who want to learn more about the transit crisis and how they can help win dedicated funding for public transit. The next scheduled trainings are Wednesday, February 20th from 7-9pm at the USW building, 60 Boulevard of the Allies, and on Sunday, February 24th from 1-3 pm at One Smithfield Building, in the Human Services Building.
