News Release

 

On October 16, 2012 the Town of Poughkeepise received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Autumn Drive which is located in the Vassar Oaks development in the southern part of town.  At approxiametely 4:15-4:30 PM a teenage female student reports getting off the bus and being followed by a suspicious male in a car while walking down the street.

 

The suspicious person is described as a black male, bald, clean shaven with approxiamate age being in his early to mid-thirties.  He was driving what appeared to be a newer model silver or gray 4 door Sedan, possibly a Cheverolet.

 

Residents are always encouraged to notify the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Dept. if they feel there is a suspisious vehicle or person in their neighborhood.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Town of Poughkeepsie Police at 845-485-3666 or leave a tip at TownPolice.net.
