Hello Everyone at GHI,
This year has absolutely flown by! It’s hard to believe we only have a few weeks left of spring quarter. To celebrate the end of the year Nourish International would like to invite you to the last Hunger Lunch of the quarter. We have had a great first year at OSU and are really close to reaching our fundraising goals. All of the money we have raised this year is going towards our summer project, the Bolivia Orphanage Project!
Some Nourish members are going to Cochabamba, Bolivia July 5th through August 4th to work on the construction of the Bolivia Orphanage Project. We are also looking for 2 or 3 more people to join us this summer. [Please let Bishara Korkor, our international projects director, know if you, or anyone you know, may be interested in going with us to Bolivia. It will be the experience of a lifetime, I'm sure. Please join us this Wednesday, May 20th from 11-2pm for the lunch. There will be two locations, the South Oval and the Wexner Center Plaza. The Lantern is covering the lunch so we would really love a great turn out.
Nourish is also doing some extra fund raising for our travel expenses for our trip to Bolivia this summer. We are holding a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, June 3rd from 6-9pm. We would love to join GHI for dinner on June 3rd. Nourish will receive 15% of the proceeds from food sales. Let us know if you would like a flier. :)
