Anyone interested in global medical service is invited to attend a talk by Dr. Thomas Mauger on
Friday, May 8th at
5:30.
Dr. Mauger is the Chairman of the Department of Opthalmology, Chief of the Anterior Segment Division, and an Associate Professor of Opthalmology. He is also the faculty advisor to the OSU branch of Project Nicaragua, a medical service group. Dr. Mauger performs volunteer cataract surgery and corneal transplants in Nicaragua and Ghana every summer. He will be discussing what he does on a day-to-day basis and the importance of basic eye care in third world countries.
