Shutting down or change?

Given the changing nature of internet communications, I am
communicating announcements about the Okal Rel Universe primarily on
blogger and facebook. But I've never made a decision about the google
group you are on, here.
I am thinking of doing one of two things with this list: delete it, or
convert it to a list used for communicating with contributors to the
Okal Rel Universe (i.e. authors of anthology stories, contributing
artists, proof-readers, editors, etc.)
The series is in its home stretch, with book 6 coming out in July 2010
and the ten-novel saga anticipated to wrap up in 2012. I am 88,000
words into the 100,000 first draft of book 8: Holy War. Production
slumped on the anthology front with a change in my day job and some
life adjustments. But we are back on track and expecting anthologies 4
and 5 to come out in the summer of 2010. We also anticipate a novella
by Kyrsia Anderson to become the second ORU novella by someone other
than myself, the first being Craig Bowlsby's "Horth in Killing Reach".
How long the ORU Legacies series will continue beyond the conclusion
of the saga in 2012 I don't know, but probably a few years at least.
I've decided to assess all this when I get there. :-)
