The Opportunity



Gallup is looking for a full-time Java Developer / Oracle ADF to join
our IT team. As Java Developer, you will be responsible for helping
redesign of one of Gallup's legacy systems using the latest
technology. You will be involved in translating needs and requirements
into technical solutions. Your ability to analyze existing software
design so you can extend it in such a way that your changes are well-
integrated with the core system and are maintainable is crucial. You
will interact with Oracle support to resolve issues and may also
develop external interfaces with other Gallup systems.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to:
• work with Oracle Fusion Middleware using JDeveloper 11g, Web Logic,
Oracle ADF and PL/SQL
• work with Application Development Framework (ADF)
• build/use Web services (JAX-WS)
• grow in SOA
• work with data warehouse/analytical processing and OLTP environments



Qualifications



• Experience with JSF
• Experience with core Java constructs
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Bachelor's degree in CS, MIS, or a related degree or the equivalent
in education and experience
• understanding of ER Modeling is desired
