This is not an OHUG activity: or you could call it a complementary activity.  I am posting this as a fellow opera/ballet usher who also volunteers with the SF Sinfonietta Orchestra and Chorus. The House Manager is Donnan, she would welcome a limited number of additional volunteer ushers for both concerts.  If you are interested, call Donnan directly at 415: 401-9229.   Both concerts are at St. Mary's Cathedral here in San Francisco.  I believe the usher call for the New Years Eve concert is at 7:15, and for New Year's Day, possibly 2:30 [definitely ask.]  Here is their posting. Do tell her you are responding to this.  The SF Sinfonietta is a community based organization, and the members of the chorus and the musicians bring provisions to share for a party for everyone attending afterwards, it's a happy event.

I am also happy to answer any questions that I can.  For more specifics, do contact Donnan directly.
