I just finished assembling my first Modular Fiddle, and I'm having some issues with the neck alignment. It's playable, but it's far from ideal. You can see in the picture that the strings are all shifted too far to the left (the G-string side). I have both truss rods installed, so I thought the alignment shouldn't really be an issue. Am I gonna have to re-print the neck, or is there something in the assembly process that could have caused this?

Bummer!

As far as I can tell, your setup looks good. The bridge is centered, the pegbox and nut look good.

I have seen this before, and it is almost always due to warp in the neck from printing. I think you'll probably need to print it again, and just double down on bed adhesion. Did you notice the part lifting at all during the print?

I didn't notice any, but that certainly doesn't mean it didn't happen. After looking at the neck a bit more closely it seems it may have lifted a bit in the middle. Well... back to the printer. I'll let you know how it turns out!

I reprinted the neck and it's a bit better... but still not perfect. Oh well, I think I can live with this. I'm still very much a beginner on the violin so I won't be using the upper part of the fingerboard for quite a while, and that's where the problem is the worst. I'm not patient enough to try again :)
