Hi Everyone,

Last year I took the OCS exam and passed on my first try. It was a challenging experience, but definitely worthwhile. What I found more difficult than the exam itself was actually studying for it. I found that there was a lack of guidance out there and everything seemed just a bit too "vague" in terms of actual question content. Anyway, I created a site to help you guys out with studying for this test. I've made a few posts with some useful tips, quizzes, and also a 25 question practice exam that you can easily download and take. This exam does NOT have any OCS questions on it, but it will show you the typical format and the types of questions you will get spanning across multiple body regions. If you guys have any questions or comments, please let me know. I, especially, encourage you to take a look at this if you've already taken the exam but haven't passed on the first try. Thank you so much for the practice questions. I have been looking for practice questions and seems like no one around me has any. This will help me a lot. Thanks again!

A classmate of mine who took it and passed last year said to do Eric Wilson's course, know the CPGs (know the rankings), CPRs (check out John Snyder's stuff as well), and look at just the Charts/Tables in the Current Concepts (as the material may be too new for the exam)

He also said, don't worry about protocols unless you have to do something different with a certain condition, say, what would you do with an ACL repair vs ACL repair WITH meniscal repair.

That is how I've been approaching it, but thanks for the extra material!

Hi
Thanks Dave for the info, but where are you doing the CPR's from?
Thanks
