NATIVE AMERICAN INTERNS NEEDED FOR NATIVE AMERICAN FILM
(MINNESOTA) -- Greetings! 3 Crazy Ladies is pleased to announce the
upcoming feature film, Older Than America, directed by Native American
filmmaker Georgina Lightning. Our company is a non-profit 501 (c) (3)
arts organization dedicated to create art and give back to the
community. As part of our mission, we partner with other artists and
groups who share our vision of social justice and art. Older Than
America is a powerful story of heart and history, focusing on a bleak
chapter in North American history when Native Indians were sent to
boarding schools as a means to assimilate into white culture and shed
their Native Indian heritage. The unofficial motto was the now
infamous: "Kill the Indian, Save the Man." A product of the
boarding school system herself, Lightning knows first-hand how vital it
is to share the story with others. Her remarkable vision is one of
compassion, healing and redemption. It is our distinct pleasure to
partner with Lightning and her reputable production team.

As a means to support the project in a meaningful way, we invite you to
join us in sponsoring the Native Media Network, a groundbreaking
internship program that enables Native Indian involvement in all
aspects of the filmmaking process. Enclosed you will find more
information about the Native Media Network as well as an artist's
statement, film synopsis, and biographical information about the
filmmaking team.
