Dear OAeBU Working Group (and Technical Advisory Group)
We’ve been working on getting some general notes and comments together to respond to the COUNTER consultation for tracking OA content. We’d love your input and comments. The consultation is focussed on some fairly clear adaptations to the COUNTERv5 Reports, offering a range of additional, but not mandatory, possibilities. Of course the challenge is in the detail of implementation and there are special issues and concerns for books as well as Open Access.
If you have time, please edit or leave comments (ideally in “suggest” mode) in the GoogleDoc at the following link. The submission is due Saturday so I know we haven’t left a lot of time but your input would be valuable.
